I heard on a trashy morning radio show recently that it’s OK to say, “Happy new year!” through February. I had two crises upon receiving this knowledge: 1. Why am I still part of the trashy morning radio show audience? It’s not healthy. 2. Why haven’t I updated our readers at all on Rogue goings on? It’s freaking February.

There are reasons. Most of them you would not believe.

But here’s one reason that’s both good and entirely believable.

We have been hard at work getting ourselves set up for 2017. We have collaborated on some sick new SharePoint solutions, friends. Our intranet has grown. It’s more engaging, it’s mobile (not just device-friendly in a browser–I’m talking native.mobile.), and it’s bad to the bone. We’ve created more add-on modules. And now we’re selling the intranet files themselves in a package in case you want to do the implementation. We still support you through it because we are Rogue, and that’s how we do things.

Soon, we will be blogging about SharePoint governance (not sexy, but necessary!), the social workplace (maybe sexy, but if so, I’m judging you because you’re doing it wrong), and hybrid cloud/on-prem strategies for enterprises that want to upgrade to O365/SPO but have lots of SharePoint customizations that just won’t be cool when you unplug them from the matrix (not sexy, but smart).

If you’re reading, thanks for hanging with us. And, hey, happy new year.

M
